Top 2 Teams share 3 Tees Trophy

Congratulations to both Jerounds 1 and Saint Nicholas 1 on sharing the winners’ trophy in the Years 1 and 2 Advanced 3 Tees Finals. 19 teams descended upon the Harlow Town Cricket Club early Friday morning to take part in a series of matches which culminated in a thrilling Finals Group. With Jerounds 1 progressing to the finals courtesy of a narrow scoring rate, both they and Saint Nicholas fielded amazingly to keep the runs low. After some excellent batting, both finalists to finish on 39 runs scored and it was agreed for them to share the medals.

Once again, Harlow School Sports Partnership Manager, David Stacey, thanked the Harlow Town Cricket Club for hosting the event, which the children and spectators thoroughly enjoyed. Special mention must also be given to the fantastic Sports Leaders provide by Saint Nicholas School; they were amazing and confidently organised the teams within their group, explaining runs in a clear and empathetic manner.
