Harlow School Sports Partnership

Well done to all the 24 teams and staff from Years 1 and 2 who attended a beautifully bright and warm football festival at Mark Hall Academy on Friday morning; even with large number of teams, the schedule was creative enough to keep everyone active and the children had a fantastic time and really enjoyed themselves.

Playing in small groups, the 5-a-side format was continuously adapted to get as many children playing as possible – one match saw 4 v 9! Staff from all the participating schools helped to ensure the games were evenly contested, with referees adding their ‘help’ when needed.

Thanks again to Luke Hammond and Gill Pardoe who assisted David Stacey in running the event for over 150 children. Teams taking part were:
