Well done to all the 15 teams and staff from Years 3 and 4 who braved the weather and attended the Girls Football Festival at Passmores Academy on Friday morning.
The rain did not stop the festival from going ahead with teams showing great resilience in the weather, playing in small groups. The 5-a-side format was continuously adapted to get as many children playing as possible – one match saw 5 v 9! Luckily, the rain passed after the first game and left us with better playing conditions!
Thanks again to Gill Pardoe, Mark Hall leaders and Passmores leaders who helped Luke Hammond with the officiating of the tournament. Teams taking part were:
