Congratulations to the team from Freshwaters, who with literally the last play of the final game, snatched victory ahead of a spirited Jerounds team in the Dodgeball Finals.
The 10 finalists from last week’s qualifying rounds returned to Mark Hall Sports Centre to playoff for the chance to represent Harlow in the forthcoming County Finals. The standard was very high, as you’d expected from the top 10 teams out of the 46 teams that began this year’s event. Again, there was a high degree of honest play with children removing themselves when they knew they’d been eliminated.
After some initial group rounds, the final 10 teams were ranked with Henry Moore taking 3rd place over Newhall, before Freshwaters 1 narrowly pipped Jerounds in the final.
Group 1
- Freshwaters 1 – 10 points
