Thank you to everyone who attended the Superstars Festival at Church Langley Primary this morning. The all-weather pitch was full of smiles and chatter as over a hundred pupils enjoyed a range of sporting activities, including football, hockey, basketball, bench ball, archery and boccia under the watchful eyes of school staff and Church Langley’s Sports Leaders.
The festival was an ideal opportunity for pupils with additional needs and/or emerging talents to come and experience a sporting event, represent their school and compete with their friends in a friendly and supportive environment. And the children did exactly that; it is one of the best events in our hectic calendar and the perfect way to end a really busy half-term of primary school sport in Harlow.
As ever, thank you to the pupils and leaders themselves, the school staff for their amazing dedication and tenacity in providing these opportunities and the organisers (David Stacey, Luke Hammond and Gill Pardoe) behind making these wonderful memories. The following teams attended and were rewarded with stickers for fantastic participation.
