A fantastic morning was enjoyed by the 21 teams of youngsters who arrived at Mark Hall Sports Centre ready to give badminton a try. With over 80 players in attendance, David Stacey (Harlow Primary School’s Sports Partnership Manager) took them through a series of fun games designed to improve their badminton skills. The kids loved the games, and it was made even better as many of the school staff joined in.
The morning finished with all the children taking turns to play on a full court with the aim of trying to develop a rally; the improvements within the morning was noticeable and the children left with a feeling of real accomplishment.
David Stacey gave thanks again to all the pupils and staff who took part. Teams involved were:
Freshwaters x 2, The Downs, Purford Green x 2, St James, Hatfield Heath x 2, St Nicholas, Cooks Spinney x 2, Jerounds x 2, Hare Street x 2 and Pemberley x 2
