Congratulations to the team from Henry Moore, who triumphed in a very tight and competitive over Milwards in the Hockey Finals. The returning 10 teams who had qualified from last week’s events arrived at Passmores for an afternoon of games, and the standard was incredibly high. Played in great spirits, the 20 matches produced some excellent scores, teamwork and moments of individual brilliance. Having played in two groups of 5, Church Langley pipped Freshwaters to take 3rd place by a single goal, a scoreline which was replicated in the final were Henry Moore edged out a talented Milwards team.
As ever, thanks were given to the school staff for enabling the children to take part in these amazing activities, and to the organisers – David Stacey, Luke Hammond and Steve Hannam.
