Well done to everyone who took part in the Years 1 and 2 Advanced 3 Tees cricket tournament, on what turned out to be a very warm day at the Harlow Town Cricket Club!
There were some amazing shots played, with some very accurate throws and awesome fielding. The teamwork on show was a joy to watch.
Congratulations were awarded to Jerounds 1 who narrowly pipped Church Langley 1 to take this year’s top place; Henry Moore 1 who came third.
Luke Hammond, School Games Organiser, thanked all of the participating teams for creating a fantastic event, especially the school staff who helped Gill Pardoe and Al (from Essex CC) umpire games on the day. There were a huge number of teams and the event ran very smoothly. Thanks were given again to Nick from the Harlow Town Cricket Club for enabling the primary schools to use such a fantastic venue.
Schools attending were: Hare Street x 2, Milwards, Henry Moore x 4, Church Langley x 2, Abbotsweld, Jerounds x 4, The Downs, Purford Green, Nazeing x 2, St Nicholas x 2
