Years 3 and 4 Girls Football Festival Fun

A morning of great fun was observed on the playing fields of Passmores Academy as 18 teams of girls from Years 3 and 4 participated in the annual football festival. Playing 5-a-side games, the girls had lots of opportunities to develop their skills of passing, tackling and shooting in a series of matches. As always, these events were well supported and the school staff of Harlow primary schools contribute to maximise playing time – special thanks to Mr Coster (Hare Street), Mrs Pardoe and Mr Hannam (Church Langley) and Mr Esteves (The Downs) for donning the referee’s whistle to help organisers David Stacey and Luke Hammond officiate 72 matches in around 90 minutes.

Teams participating were: Church Langley x 2, Hare Street x 2, Harlowbury x 2, Henry Moore x 2, Jerounds x 2, Katherines, Latton Green, Milwards, Nazeing x 2, Saint Nicholas x 2 and The Downs.
