Well done to all the triathletes who attended the 2nd annual event at Stewards Academy. With Storm Benjamin in full flow, a decision was taken at late notice to move the cycling and running aspect of the triathlon indoors – fortunately Stewards have a fantastic sports hall and gymnasium with exercise bikes that made it great fun for the children to use.
Our thanks were given to Nicola and Max Arnold for their help in the swimming pool; and to Gill Pardoe for assisting David Stacey and Luke Hammond in the organising of the event.
The children who took part were fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed their morning. Congratulations to Zach (Church Langley) and Florence (Newhall) who were crowned as the best boy and girl triathletes this year.
