Harlow School Sports Partnership

Well done to the 30 teams of Years 3 and 4 pupils, who attended the annual Football Festival; the event was another great success with huge participation numbers! Despite the gloomy conditions at Passmores, the pitches held up well and nearly 200 children had a fabulous time, representing their school.

Huge thanks were given to school staff and Sports Leaders from Passmores Academy and particularly to Luke Hammond (Purford Green) and David Stacey (Church Langley), who spent hours of their own time moving goals and equipment across town before and after the event in order to allow such large numbers of children to take part.

Teams taking part were: Church Langley x 4, Cooks Spinney, Freshwaters, Hare Street x 2, Hatfield Heath x 2, Henry Moore x 2, Holy Cross x 2, Jerounds, Katherines, Latton Green, Milwards x 2, Nazeing x 2, Newhall, Pemberley x 2, Purford Green, Roydon, St James, St Albans, The Downs and Water Lane.
