With Storm Claudia raging outside, the organsiers were delighted to be inside the warm sports hall of Stewards Academy for the duration of the basketball qualifiers. With so many teams wanting to enter, the event was split in 3 sessions with a staggering 18 teams (nearly 200 pupils) participating throughout the day.
Due to a change in format, the standard suffered slightly as pitches were a little overcrowded, but the children eventually got used to the dimensions and made improvements throughout. The top teams from each group have progressed to the finals, which will take place on Friday 28th November at Stewards.
