Juniors Have A Blast At School’ s Basketball Festival

Another Friday, another huge triumph for Harlow Primary School Sport! Once again the staff from the local primary schools combined their efforts to provide yet another fantastic opportunity for young pupils to develop their skills and a love for sport.

Playing inside the awesome Stewards Sports Hall, 12 teams of enthusiastic athletes from Years 3 and 4, played a series of basketball matches, with expert guidance and encouragement given by organisers David Stacey, Gill Pardoe and Luke Hammond.

The children were fantastically well-behaved, waiting patiently for their team’s turn to play. Once on court, the staff mixed and match numbers and players across teams to ensure maximum playing time and opportunities for all – this is a real strength of the people involved!

Teams taking part: Cooks Spinney, Church Langley x 3, Freshwaters, Hare Street x 2, Jerounds x 2, Katherines, Latton Green and Saint Nicholas.
