Well done to all those involved across both Hockey Qualifying events at Passmores today; the weather was atrocious, but we managed to complete an impressive 70 games, providing opportunities for in excess of 200 pupils – some of whom were experiencing hockey for the first time.
Despite the driving rain and freezing temperatures, the scheduling kept everyone involved without significant waiting. School staff kept the children entertained with additional warm-up activities and the children showed great improvements throughout their matches.
Congratulations to the 12 teams who topped (or finished 2nd) in their respective groups. We look forward to hosting you for the Hockey Finals at Passmores next Friday afternoon- fingers crossed for better weather!
