Tchoukball Fun despite weather

Once again, despite the ‘rain gods’ descending upon Passmores Academy, the sporting enthusiasm of the children of Harlow would not be deterred. The annual Tchoukball Festival went ahead in pretty poor conditions, but the children had fun learning a new game and adapting their understanding to new tactics and rules.

16 teams competed, in a series of grouped games, followed by ‘friendlies’ against their own school to finish. Thanks were given to David Stacey, Gill Pardoe and Luke Hammond for organising the event and to Passmores Academy for supporting with use of the all-weather pitch.
