Quad Kids Athletics – Fun in the Sunshine

What a fantastic way to finish another busy term of primary school sport – with the Quad Kids Athletics events. Despite lots of late withdrawals due to half-day closures, there were a large number of athletes taking part in the 4 athletic events at the Mark hall Academy Sports Centre.

With 24 fantastic Sports Leaders from Mark Hall on hand to support and officiate, the teams rotated round the 4 events in record time, ensuring a prompt morning finish.

The results which are always notoriously tricky to produce at the event are as follows – medals will; be winging their way to the respective teams after the Easter holidays.

Years 3 and 4 athletes compete in all 4 of the following events:

60m Sprint; 400m distance run; standing long jump and a vortex howler throw.
