Swimming Gala Success in Sweltering Heat

A huge thank you and congratulations to all the teams of pupils, school staff, Leisure Zone staff and spectators for another successful swimming gala. With 80 races, nearly 400 swimmers competing and only 4 hours of pool time – yet again, to finish ahead of time is testament to the hard work that goes on to organise these events – thank you David, Luke and Gill!

On one of the hottest day of the year so far, the pupils enjoyed the coolness of the water; their were some amazing performances by some very talented swimmers. As ever, our thanks to the Leisure Zone lifeguards for encouraging and ensuring that even our weaker swimmers were safe throughout both events.
