Once again young ladies from local Harlow Primary Schools were treated to a fantastic opportunity to display their talents and showcase their passion for all things football at the annual Years 3 and 4 Football Festival. Passmores Academy played hosts as nearly 100 girls attended in a morning of creative scheduling to ensure maximum participation; the small pools of teams played a series of matches. Once more, the 5-a-side format was continuously adapted to encourage greater participation and teamwork.
As ever, thanks to the school staff for providing the opportunities for the children and to the event staff (Gill Pardoe, Will Stacey and Luke Hammond) for assisting David Stacey in running the event.
The 13 teams taking part: Church Langley, Purford Green, The Downs, Freshwaters x 2, Hare Street x 2, Jerounds, Latton Green, Cooks Spinney, Holy Cross, Longwood and Saint Nicholas.
